2021 Rendezvous Red, 750 mL
Aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry, and red cherry are layered with subtle herbal notes, cracked pepper, and hints of red and green pepper. Syrah contributes plum, cassis, and earthy complexity, while Merlot adds violet aromatics and blueberry fruit. Extended oak aging brings vanilla, baking spice, and toasted cedar. Medium-full bodied and beautifully balanced, Rendezvous Red pairs effortlessly with charcuterie, game meats, and grilled beef.
WINEMAKING
Each varietal was fermented and aged separately before final blending, allowing the unique character of each component to shine. The wine spent more than 20 months in American, Hungarian, and Eastern European oak.

HARVEST 2021
The 2021 growing season in Horse Heaven Hills was defined by one of the hottest years on record, highlighted by the historic Pacific Northwest heat dome. Early bud break and severe summer heat resulted in naturally low yields and concentrated fruit. Cooler weather later in the season allowed flavors to mature while retaining freshness and acidity, producing wines with remarkable concentration, structure, and depth.
