Sourced from the Armagh vineyard, a single parcel site in one of the regions newest American Viticulture Areas. This is the inaugural release of this limited wine! High altitude vineyards with ample slope and sunshine combines intense color with fruit concentration and balance. Only 6 barrel selection of this unique wine were produced! Deeply colored garnet with a purple core, the wine opens with concentrated raspberry, Bing cherry, and cassis aromas. Persistent, yet approachable tannins are balanced with lively minerality, and a powerful mid palate. Aged in a combination of new and previously seasoned French Oak barrels, giving the wine a lingering savory and spiced finish. A powerful wine in its youth that will mellow with cellar time, it pairs well with heavy cream cheeses, cured meats, marbled beef and game, and benifits from decanting when enjoyed!
